Oxford DNB, Janet Todd, "Behn, Aphra [Aphara], (1640?–1689)". Translated from the French into English by Aphra Behn. Originally published in English in 1688. This work helped to popularize Copernican science and was also a comparative study of pagan religions, especially in late antiquity. The publication of this book was dangerous, as it questioned the Anglican and Catholic Church's authority. Very Good. Item #000010568
