n.p. Addenbrooke, ca. 1900. Single Sheet. 12mo. 17.5 c.m. x 11 c.m. Embroidery. A Bible verse printed in black on wove paper with a decorative lace border around it. The verse on the paper has printed decorations around it, showing plants, a shining heart, and a dove. The verse reads: "Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek; for the shall possess the land. Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice; for they shall be filled ... Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." The paper under the verse reads: "My darling Father". The paper is blindstamped "Addenbrooke" in the right lower corner. Near Fine. Item #000011105
