Illustrated with a frontispiece and with several plates of black and white photographs. With a program from The Haresfoot Club's "Lucky Breaks: A Sparkling Musical Revue". The club was an organzation at the University of Wisconsin, and this was a show they put on. A portion of the program is missing as it was the portion that students and others would use to mail in their ticket orders. This program was used as a bookmark in the book. Bowers' history provides an overview of Reconstruction, the period immediately after Lincoln's assassination. Near Fine / Very Good. Item #000012490
