Homosexuality in Perspective
Boston: Little, Brown and Company [1979], 1979. First edition. Hardcover. Large 8vo. [4], v-xiv, [2], 3-450 pp. Brown cloth with gold lettering blocked in red on the spine. Masters and Johnson conducted research on human sexuality from the 1950's through the '70's, including research into sexual dysfunction in heterosexual and homosexual people. Unfortunately, Masters also played a key part in the early development of "conversion therapy", touting his so-called results based on fabricated research. This book does contain some of his writings on the subject, but it also contains the pair's work on studying general sexual satisfaction, behavior, and physiology in the gay community.
