[9], 2-548; [9], 2-527 pp. Contemporary sheep with the spine in six compartments, a maroon leather label lettered in gilt on the spine. Title page of volume two in red and black. With woodcut headpieces, tailpieces and initials. Text in both Dutch and English. Sewel was a Dutch-English historian and translator. One of his most collected works is an early, copious history of the Quakers. Sewel's dictionary contains an English to Dutch and a Dutch to English volume. Explanatory grammars are added as well.
