The first English language edition, as the UK first edition was done in 1931. A charming tale of a young German boy, the son of a widowed mother who works to support Emil. She sends her son to live with his aunt and uncle, and along the way he is drugged and robbed. Emil then must rely on the help of other children and on his family to get his money back. Very Good or better / Very Good. Item #000014969
The book is very sharp save for its rear board is a bit bowed and the textblock has very mild foxing; jacket's spine panel is quite sunned, its corners have a bit of edge wear.
