The illustrations depict St. Nicholas, children singing Christmas carols, Lent celebrations, children burning a straw witch, children picking flowers for the Maypole, children coloring and hiding Easter eggs, the Peasants Pork Fest, Kirkmass, and other Czech cultural traditions.
