Signed by Abbie Hoffman on the free front endpaper. Hoffman's memoir of his experiences at the Woodstock Music festival, arguably the most iconic American music festival to have taken place to date. With a passage on his disruption to the Who's set during the festival. This book also contains excerpts illuminating Hoffman's psyche and his motivations for protesting and advocating for some of the signature causes of the 1960's. Hoffman was a "Yippie", and garnered a great deal of attention during the 1960's and 1970's. He was one of the Chicago 8 defendants, and protested vigorously against the Vietnam War.
