With several full-page and in-text illustrations (photographs and drawings) all in black and white. MacTutor, "Louis Charles Karpinski". Karpinski was a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Michigan and wrote several papers and a thorough bibliography on the history of mathematics. He was known for visiting bookshops throughout Europe and helped build a portion of the collection at U of M's Clements Library. His bibliography remains well-regarded today.
