The photgraph depicts middle-class women's fashion in the early 20th century, with a particularly sharp view of the girl's dress and boots. The exposure appears to have been done improperly, as some details in the photograph are blurrier than they should be. Photograph taken at Timm photography in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Historical Society records this studio as being located in Oshkosh from 1913 to 1914, a short-lived operation.
