Modena: Bartolomeo Soliani Stampator Ducale, 1731. Broadside. Broadside. 40 cm x 29 cm. Published on August 17th 1731. With a royal seal at the top, followed by a notice concerning local tax laws. The notice explains the current tax rate due to "debts incurred by past Districts". The notice also lays out a penalty if the taxes are not remitted in time. The Magistrate has his name at the end of the notice, with the name of the Chancellor below. A fascinating example of local government in Enlightenment era Italy. Very Good+. Item #00008789
