Profusely decorated with several full-page illustrations and numerous in-text illustrations. Contents include several short stories, and serialized chapters of George Eliot's novel Daniel Deronda, with pieces on Vassar College, Windsor Castle, and Cambridge, MA. This volume also contains a humours short piece on human infants called "The Baby". Bound by the Sentinel Book Bindery and Blank Book Manufactory in Milwaukee, WI. Volume 52 in the Harper's Monthly Magazine series. The magazine was first issued in June 1850 and still publishes today. Very Good. Item #00008937
