The book is based on a series of seven lectures delivered by Feynman at Cornell University in 1964. The lectures were recorded by the BBC and the book was issued as a companion piece to the broadcast. The lectures were focused on the laws of physics and Feynman discussed the Law of Gravitation, the mathematics behind the laws of physics, the nature of explanation, the principles of conservation and symmetry, and the notorious paradoxes of quantum physics.
