[10], 11-127, [1] pp. Quarter grey cloth over grey paper boards, pictorial front board lettered in blue with decorations in white, black, and blue. Illustrated by a frontispiece and seventeen additional plates, photographs of where Nichols was born, lived, and photographs of a few portraits of him throughout his life. First Four Seas Press edition (the true first being published in 1912). George Nichols dictated his autbiography when he was 80 years old, this autbiography covers his seafaring life at the end of the eighteenth century and the beginning of the 19th century. Most of his voyages were to the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and to the far East. Very Good. Item #00009090
